Miami’s Nicholson garners multiple mid-season All-America honors

Miami University junior placekicker Graham Nicholson was recently named Mid-Season All-America by the Sporting News, and the Associated Press placed him on their All-America Second-Team squad.
At the time of the announcement, the Cincinnati native was a perfect 13-for-13 this season on field goal attempts, including 7-of-7 from 40-plus yards.
He also drilled a career-best 52-yard kick in the 27-0 win at Bowling Green, the sixth-longest field goal in program history. He is just one of 11 kickers in the country to not miss a kick in 2023.
Nicholson was also perfect on extra points (23-of-23) and had 25 touchbacks on 38 attempts. He ranked 11th in the nation in scoring (62 points).
