Margaret K. Elliott Zile

Margaret Katheleen Elliott Zile, 85, of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, May 5, 2023 at Highland District Hospital with her family by her side. 

She was born on June 3, 1937, in Sinking Spring, the daughter of the late Fred and Emma Stewart Elliot. 

Mrs. Zile was a Sinking Spring High School graduate. She was a cook at the Villa Georgetown Healthcare Center for over 19 years, and she was a member of the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene. She loved her family, and she will be deeply missed. 

Mrs. Zile is survived by two sons, Dr. Ronnie (Mary) Zile of Lake Waynoka and the Rev. Tom (Debbie) Zile of Hillsboro; four grandchildren, Lindsay (Tyler) Inman of Hillsboro, Tiffany (Clint) McCoy of Hillsboro, Jordan Zile of Columbus and Jessica (Lawrence) Williamson of Columbus; five great-grandchildren, Easton Inman, Austin Inman, Winston Inman, Cache McCoy and Oakley McCoy; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Wesley “Sonny” Zile, Jr.; a grandson, Justin Michael Zile; four brothers, Victor Elliot, Ralph Elliott, Freddie Elliott and Kenneth Elliott; four sisters, Lorena Elliott, Thelma Leath, Marie Smalley and Dorothy Ralston. 

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday May 10 at the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene. Funeral services will be noon Thursday, May 11 at the church. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions may be made in Katheleen’s name to the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene, 8230 U.S. 50, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
