Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs, Lady Mustangs each tie at CHCA

Both the Lynchburg-Clay boys and girls soccer teams tied against Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy on Saturday afternoon (Aug. 26).
For the girls, they tied CHCA with a 1-1 score, as their lone goal was scored by Jade Massey.
LCHS sophomore Caitlyn Collins totaled eight saves in the tie. As a team, the Lady Mustangs took 14 shots.
The tie moves the Lady Mustangs to 3-0-2 overall.
In the boys game at CHCA, the Mustangs tied with their opponent, 0-0.
Mustangs junior keeper Isaac Eyre totaled 11 saves in the shutout.
The Mustangs are now 0-2-2 on the season.
Both LCHS teams are back in action Wednesday, Aug. 30 on the road at Eastern, with the girls starting at 5 p.m. and the boys team scheduled for a 6:30 start.
