Lions fall to visiting MT Panthers

The Fairfield Lions suffered a home loss in their varsity soccer match Thursday night (Aug. 24), dropping the non-conference game to the Miami Trace Panthers, 8-3.
Fairfield’s three goals were scored by Logan McIntosh with two goals and Zane Matthews with one goal. Assists were credited to Larkin Friend with two.
At goal for the Lions, Carson Jenkins had five saves and Isaac Burns totaled two saves.
The Lions are now 3-3-0 overall, and they sit 2-0 in the SHAC standings.
Fairfield is scheduled to play again Saturday, Aug. 26 at noon against Clinton-Massie at home.
