Ward seeks re-election to Republican State Central Committee
To the editor:
In 2012, I was elected to the Republican State Central Committee in one of the most watched races in the entire state of Ohio.
It’s been an honor and privilege to serve the 10 counties of the 17th District. These counties include Pickaway, Ross, Highland, Fayette, Clinton, Pike, Jackson, Vinton, Gallia, and Lawrence.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the last two years and especially all of the people that I have met and worked with in promoting the principles of the Republican Party.
I would like the opportunity to continue to be a positive voice representing the values of southern Ohio at the state level, as the Republican State Central Committee Woman for the 17th District, so we can continue to build a strong party that promotes the values and principles that we believe in.
I am a teacher at Waverly City Schools and have been teaching for over 30 years. In addition, I am an 18-year member of the Pike County Agricultural Society and the Pike County Chairwoman for the Republican Party, Republican Vice Chairwoman for the Southern Ohio Chairs, Pike County Kasich/Taylor Chairwoman, serve on the Pike County Board of Elections and attend New Beginnings Outreach Ministries Church.
I am married to Rick Ward, my husband of 33 years. We have one son, Jairus, and wife, Samantha, and granddaughter, Rowan.
Sincerely,
Bonnie Ward
