Qaddafi's elimination another triumph for Obama administration

To the editor:

I saw on television that the people of Libya have killed Moammar Qaddafi, who has been in power for 47 years and has been a thorn in the side of the United States for most of that time.  

So let me get this straight.

President Bush got rid of Saddam Hussein and it cost $1-2 trillion and thousands of American lives.  

President Obama got rid of Qaddafi and it cost $1 billion and zero American lives.  

Andrew Sullivan of The Daily Beast said “To rid the world of Osama bin Laden, Anwar al-Awlaki and Moammar Qaddafi within six months: if Obama were a Republican, he’d be on Mount Rushmore by now.”

Of course, all we hear from conservatives and Republicans is that President Obama is a communist, socialist Muslim who is destroying the country.  

He has done more to protect this country and build world respect for our country than Bush did in eight years, or the current crop of Republican presidential candidates could ever accomplish.
