Be The Match event a success

Dear Highland County Press staff,
My sincere thank you for your help regarding the Be The Match event for Chris Yankey and Brandon Barrett.
The article about Brandon and his wife, Cassie, was well-written, timely and very informative. The event was a success!
Over 170 people came through the line and were swabbed. Their information will be entered into the databank and hopefully someone will Be The Match!
The procedure is free and painless and so well worth the few minutes it takes.
Brandon and Chris are much-loved, wonderful family folks who both deserve to live healthy, active lives without the worries, burdens and concerns that cancer brings. The bone marrow transplants are at this time, very necessary.
Chris and Brandon both need donors as soon as possible and because of your help we are another step closer.
Once again, thank you for always printing stories that touch hearts and minds and motivate people to step up to help others in our community!
