The Lynchburg-Clay FFA Chapter attended the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind., with Mowrystown FFA from Oct. 29 to Nov. 1.
On Wednesday, we went on some tours on the drive there. One of them was J&M Manufacturing, and the other was Becks Hybrids. Once we finished the tours, our chapter had some fun at Top Golf.
The next day, we attended two sessions and the trade show. That night, we attended the Buckeye bash and had the opportunity to see other chapters from Ohio, as well as enjoy getting to know fellow FFA members.
The next day, we went to Fair Oaks Farms for a tour of the dairy cow and hog facilities. Once we returned from the Fair Oaks tours, we went to a nice chapter dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse.
The next morning, we attended a session to watch Ella Barry, who is a member of our chapter, walk across the stage and receive her American Degree. Congratulations to Ella on this great achievement.
