Lady Lions soccer shuts out Northwest

Going on the road Tuesday night (Sept. 19), the Fairfield Lady Lions earned a dominant non-conference win against the Northwest Lady Mohawks by a 8-0 score for their eighth win of the ’23 season.

Fairfield had a hat-trick from Faith Donley with three goals, while Ava Hooper finished with two goals. Also with two goals was Kennedy Zink, and finishing with one goal was Claire Newkirk.

Vivian Henninger totaled two assists for the Lady Lions, and also with an assist was Kendal Welling.

At goal for Fairfield was Meri Jackson.

The Lady Lions are now 8-1-0 overall and 3-0-0 in the SHAC.

Next for the FHS Lady Lions is a SHAC game on Saturday, Sept. 23 at North Adams with an 11 a.m. start.

In the boys game, the Lions lost to Northwest 7-0. The Fairfield boys team now stands at 4-7-0 overall, and they are 3-0-0 in the SHAC.
