Joanne Shrout

Joanne Shrout, 87, of Leesburg, passed away Monday, Oct. 23, 2023 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.
 
She was born Nov. 2, 1935 in Ironton, the daughter of Henry and Anna Evelyn (Bayless) Dickess.
 
Joanne was a school bus driver/transportation supervisor for Greenfield Exempted Village Schools for 22 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union of Greenfield and an avid walker and gardener.
 
She is survived by two daughters, Diana (Tom) Henson of Leesburg and Susan Munyan of Leesburg; two sons, James Munyan of Greenfield and Robbie Munyan of Leesburg; one stepdaughter, Sherry Highley of Greenfield; one stepson, Randy Munyan of South Salem; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Munyan in 1988; husband, Gary Shrout Sr. in 2008; two stepsons, Larry Munyan and Mike Munyan; one stepdaughter, Carol Arney; one grandson, Camry Lower; two sisters; two brothers; and both parents.
 
Funeral service will be Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Roger Newkirk officiating. Burial will be in the Greenfield Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 25 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
