The McClain Tigers track and field team hosted the Hillsboro Indians and Whiteoak Wildcats at a track meet held at McClain Field earlier this week. The event was suspended due to rain.

Saving much of their first power until the final innings, the Whiteoak Wildcats earned a season-opening victory against non-conference foe Paint Valley on Monday. The Wildcats scored five runs in the seventh inning to break away for a 10-6 victory in Bainbridge.
