Highland District Hospital and the Highland County Firefighters Association will host Public Safety Awareness Day Sunday, Oct. 26 from noon-2 p.m. at Highland District Hospital, 1275 North High St., Hillsboro.

The RPHF Solid Waste District and Highland County Health District are hosting a tire and electronic recycling day from 8 a.m.-noon on Saturday Aug. 16 at the North High Business Center lot, 1487 N. High Street in Hillsboro.

The Highland District Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce the successful completion of its annual golf outing, which welcomed a total of 28 teams coming together to support healthcare in our community.

Highland District Hospital is proud to announce the return of full-time pulmonology medical services to its campus with the addition of Dr. Sandeep Kapur, a board-certified pulmonologist and critical care physician.

The Highland District Hospital Foundation welcomed family and friends of the late Dr. Thomas Sharkey to the HDH campus after a donation was made in his honor. 

In an effort to enhance community safety and wellness, the Highland District Hospital Foundation recently donated an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to the City of Hillsboro Shaffer Park.

Highland District Hospital welcomes Dr. Mufti Ahmad to its Cancer Care & Hematology team and is excited to expand the program to five days a week. 

With such a crowded field for Ohio's Second Congressional race to succeed U.S. Rep. Brad Wenstrup, it came as no surprise whatsoever that a candidate today tossed his support to another. In fact, I predicted as much in December 2023.

On June 27, Hillsboro FFA members had the opportunity to serve their community by helping landscape Highland District Hospital.
