Though committing multiple turnovers, the Tigers kept the game close in the first half, but lost their second straight game to start the season, falling to the Piketon Redstreaks 65-28 at Zane Trace High School in the Zane Trace Tip-Off Classic.

    Drew Dollich showed little signs of his preseason illness and lit up the Whiteoak defense for 21 points, including a trio of 3-pointers, as Coach Dave Young's Green Devils defeated Tom Wessner's Wildcats, 69-54, Friday, Dec. 3. Prior to the opening tipoff, the North Adams gymnasium paused for a moment of silence in honor of fallen U.S. Marine Luke Scott of Adams County, who lost his life in the war in Afghanistan this week.
