After having a 17-day break since their last game, the McClain Tigers were unable to put up a consistent offensive effort Saturday night. Though they played well defensively for parts of the South Central Ohio League matchup, MHS was unable to overcome their offensive woes against the Washington Blue Lions, falling 42-25 at McClain High School.

The McClain Lady Tigers used defense to jump back into the winning side of things Friday night against the Washington Lady Blue Lions at MHS. Holding the Lady Blue Lions to just nine points in the first three quarters, MHS won handily over Washington, 35-19.

Acting on a recommendation from the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) Competitive Balance Committee, the OHSAA Board of Directors today unanimously placed a new bylaw up for vote of the OHSAA membership that would be the first step toward possible changes on how schools are assigned to tournament divisions.
