    CHILLICOTHE — Two consecutive technical fouls swung the momentum of the Division II SE District Sectional final, leading to a turn of events that didn't go in favor of the co-South Central Ohio League champion Hillsboro Indians, Friday night at Southeastern High School. HHS lost the sectional final game, 55-47 to Waverly.

  • Freshman quarterback set to lead HHS in 1983
    There were a couple of new football coaches in the SCOL this season. Jim “Tate” Taylor had stepped down, at Hillsboro, and long-time assistant coach Jim Horne had been elevated to the head coaching position. Horne enjoyed a rather harmonious relationship with the athletes, as did his predecessor. But he would be faced with a challenge, as this year’s team would be led by a freshman quarterback, Chris Walker.
