Starting Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m., ReaLife Church will begin an eight-session study group called Life’s Healing Choices, as part of the Celebrate Victory program they hold every Tuesday night.

LIONS 2nd at XC Classic – Despite having three runners missing due to the Highland County Fair, the Fairfield boys Jr. High cross country  team  finished second out of 11 schools at the 10th annual Xenia Christian Ambassador XC Classic Sept. 12.

Dooley concert Sept. 27 in Goshen
Nationally renowned singing artist and composer Jimmy Dooley will be at The Williams Corner Church of God, 6162 Route 132, Goshen on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 11 a.m. Dooley sings contemporary and inspirational music and he will be performing his new release “Be The Change” along with many of his old favorites. Dooley’s new single, “Be The Change,” was released internationally to Christian radio.

Targeting major transportation projects that will have a significant impact throughout the state and Midwest region, Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland is submitting nine applications to the U.S. Department of Transportation for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act TIGER (Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery) Discretionary Grant Program.

Trapp to run for Supreme Court
Judge Mary Jane Trapp has announced her candidacy for Ohio Supreme Court. Trapp will be running for the seat currently held by Judge Judy Lanzinger. The announcement took place this week at the Ladies’ Gallery of the Statehouse.
