Route 131 closed in Brown County

State Route 131 in Brown County is now closed between U.S. 50 and U.S. 68 due to flooding, the Ohio Department of Transportation District 9 reported.

In addition, S.R. 93, S.R. 139 and S.R. 140 in Jackson County remain closed due to high water.

These closures are expected to be in effect throughout the weekend.

Motorists are reminded that crossing any closed route is strictly prohibited and to exercise extreme caution when traveling over any route which remains open but where standing water may be present.
