Reported bomb threat near Ohio Statehouse determined false alarm

A reported bomb threat leading Ohio State Highway Patrol officers and a bomb squad to evacuate the Rhodes Tower building, located near the Ohio Statehouse, and to shut down a portion of Broad Street, has ended, according to the Columbus Dispatch.

"Suspicious" duffel bags were left unattended near the entrance of the Rhodes Tower, the Dispatch and ABC Channel 6 News reported.

The Dispatch now states that Broad Street has been reopened after the duffel bags were sprayed with a water cannon and found to contain clothing.
