Multimedia: Miracle on the Hudson survivor to address HHS graduates

By
-
He wasn't supposed to be on that flight. But, maybe he was meant to be on that flight. When U.S. Airways Flight 1549 crashed into the Hudson River on a cold morning in January 2009, all 155 passengers survived. The 155th passenger off that plane was Hillsboro native Dave Sanderson.
Sanderson will be the featured speaker during the 2010 baccalaureate ceremonies at Hillsboro High School on May 23. The following multimedia presentation is Sanderson's account of the events that happened aboard Flight 1549, and the moments after he got off the plane, as told to a group of former classmates and area residents at Southern State Community College in March. [[In-content Ad]]
