Insurance director accepts surrender of Lynchburg agent's license

COLUMBUS — Ohio Department of Insurance Director Mary Jo Hudson has announced that the Department accepted the surrender of the resident insurance license of Ernest Soale of Lynchburg, Ohio for alleged violations of Ohio insurance law.
A Department investigation revealed that Mr. Soale created and submitted bogus applications for life insurance to the Western and Southern Life Insurance Company during the time period of February 2009. While Mr. Soale neither admits nor denies the above allegations are true, he has agreed to a permanent surrender of his Ohio insurance agent license.
Director Hudson accepted the surrender of Mr. Soale’s resident insurance license effective May 13, 2010.
