The Chillicothe Ross Chamber of Commerce (the "Chamber") announced that the former Pixelle Specialty Solutions' paper mill in Chillicothe, Ohio, will again be making paper.

The U.S. Senate failed to advance a bill Wednesday that would have banned congressional stock trading after every Democrat voted against it. The Stop Insider Trading Act, introduced by Rep. Brian Steil, R-Wis., passed the House earlier this year with bipartisan support.

In a unanimous per curiam opinion, the Supreme Court found the Fourth District Court of Appeals wrongly dismissed Margarita Nguyen’s request to be reinstated as a member of the Nelsonville City Council and as council president.

DeWine signed the following bill into law: House Bill 519, sponsored by State Representative Andrea White (R-Kettering), to prohibit possession of an electronic device while committing a motor vehicle theft offense, to temporarily reduce certain motor fuel taxes, to levy a temporary retail tax on certain motor fuel, to make appropriations to supplement the loss of motor fuel tax revenues, and to declare an emergency.

The Georgetown post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a fatal three vehicle crash involving a commercial vehicle that occurred at 7:25 a.m. on Sept. 30.
