The Ohio High School Athletic Association released the first MaxPreps Ratings Percentage Index (RPI) rankings on Wednesday for girls and boys basketball.
The second annual Chad Hodson Classic was held in Grandle Gymnasium at Fairfield High School Saturday, as six games were played with all five Highland County schools represented in the all-day event.
On Thursday (Dec. 28), the non-conference showdown between the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs and the Paint Valley Lady Bearcats belonged to the visitors, as LCHS won by a 42-point margin, defeating the host Lady Bearcats, 72-30.
On Friday night (Dec. 29), the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs finished the 2023 calendar year with a non-conference loss to the host Washington Blue Lions by a 68-40 score.
Friday night (Dec. 23) the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs traveled to West Union and promptly defeated the host Dragons in Southern Hills Athletic Conference action, winning by a 79-55 score.
