Tigers place 2nd at SCOL Championships

The McClain boys track team placed second at the 2014 South Central Ohio League Championships in the two-day event, held at Washington Senior High School.

MHS scored 117 points, trailing only the first-place Miami Trace Panthers, who scored 143 points.

Third through seventh places were: Chillicothe (115), Hillsboro (93), Clinton-Massie (88), Washington (73) and East Clinton (27)

For the Tigers of MHS, they totaled three first-place finishes. Ryan Faulconer was first in the discus event with a distance of 134-11. The MHS 4x200m relay of James Morris, Thomas Schrader, Tristan Pitzer and Alex Hollar had a time of 1:35.30.

The other first-place finish for MHS was the 4x100m relay team of Morris, Schrader, Hollar and Seth Willman at 45.43.

Finishing in first place for HHS was De-Andre Steward in the 1600m run at 4:39.68 and the 3200m run with a time of 10:37.06.
