McClain Tigers host 13th annual McClain Invitational

The McClain Tigers hosted the 13th annual McClain Invitational on Friday, where they and seven other schools took part in the annual event.

For the boys event, the Tigers placed seventh with 62 points, while Highland County rival Hillsboro was third overall with 91 points.

The boys event saw Circleville win the event with 137 points, followed by Piketon with 93 points in second place. In fourth was Adena (89), and in fifth and sixth were Zane Trace (77.5) and Miami Trace (76), respectively. Placing eighth was Westfall (34.5).

Only McClain senior Ryan Faulconer won an event for a Highland County school, placing first in the shot put with a distance of 49-6.
