Liberty Park Little League kicks off 2021 season
Lead Summary

Tara Pendell-
The 2021 Liberty Park Little League season is officially underway, with several different divisions hosting games this summer.
We are so very excited for all of the upgrades that we were able to implement for the start of this year, with the help of not only our volunteer board members but numerous other volunteers, donors, businesses and the City of Hillsboro.
Because of these generous people, we were able to upgrade the concession stand and have the health department approve us to sell hot food. This year, we are offering hot dogs, nachos with cheese and popcorn for sale, in addition to our previous menu.
The City of Hillsboro also cut out and squared off the parking lot for improved parking.
This season we have multiple divisions: coed T-ball (4/5 year old), 7U coaches pitch softball (6/7 year old girls), 7U coaches pitch baseball (6/7 year old boys), 9U modified kid pitch softball (8/9 year old girls) and 9U modified kid pitch baseball (8/9 year old boys).
We will be hosting games for our teams Monday thru Thursdays with multiple games played on the two fields each night, leaving Friday evenings for make-up games. We encourage everyone to stop out and check out the local talent displaying local businesses on the front of their jerseys playing the game they love.
We are also always looking for volunteers that would like to help keep this park clean and functional for the youth to have the opportunity to compete and learn America’s pastime and favorite game.
Liberty Park Little League board members include president Kerri Mootz, vice president Wendy Setty and secretary/treasurer Tara Pendell. We would like to extend a huge thank-you to all of the sponsors and volunteers who have made this year possible.
