Lady Indians gain big win over Miami Trace

The Hillsboro girls basketball program is continuing in the right direction, because for the first time in quite some time, they ended a game against the Miami Trace Lady Panthers with a victory.
That victory, one that put the Lady Indians in a tie for first place in the South Central Ohio League, wasn't just an SCOL win, but a convincing win by a 54-32 score, showing the Lady Indians are a team to watch for in the league standings.
"This was a good win for our program, especially because it was on the road," HHS head coach JR Moberly said. "Our effort and execution on the defensive side were very good."
For HHS (3-1, 4-1), they scored 22 points in the first quarter, and 11 points in the second frame saw them take a 33-21 lead by the time halftime rolled around.
