Indians tennis blanked by Blue Lions

In a South Central Ohio League matchup, the Hillsboro Indians fell to the Washington Blue Lions on all five courts last Thursday in Washington Court House.

In the first singles match, Hillsboro's Reese Leibreich lost in three sets to Max McKinney 4-6, 7-6, 4-6.

The second singles match saw Hillsboro's Ben Rhoads fall 4-6, 5-7 to Tyler Ream.

In third singles Colton Wertsbaugh (HHS) lost 0-6, 1-6 to Garret Phipps of Washington.

Hillsboro's Stanley Lannigan and Alex Rhoads lost the first doubles match in three sets (5-7, 7-5, 6-7) to Washington's Jacob Vance and Luke Mesker.

The second doubles match saw HHS's Patrick Shanahan and Cody Pollard fall 0-6, 0-6 to Washington's Zach Johnson and Josh Rowland.[[In-content Ad]]
