Indians fall to Panthers and Blue Lions

The Hillsboro Indians boys golf team traveled to Washington CH on Thursday to face the Washington Blue Lions and Miami Trace Panthers in Frontier Athletic Conference play. After the conference match was complete, the Indians were third overall.

Miami Trace won the tri-match with a score of 191, followed by Washington at 200 and Hillsboro at 205 in the event held at The Greens in Washington C.H.

Will Kiefer led the Indians with a score of 44, followed by scores of 49 shot by Gavin Puckett and 52 by Gabe Mycroft.

Also for the Indians, scoring included: Bryce Bledsoe (60), Hayden Miller (67) and Ryan Harless (71).

Next for Hillsboro boys golf is an FAC match on Tuesday, Aug. 29 at the Hillsboro Elks against the Chillicothe Cavaliers at 4:30 p.m.
