MOWRYSTOWN - The Hillsboro Indians began the Whiteoak Invitational with a 13-3 win over Rock Hill Saturday afternoon at Whiteoak High School.
Hillsboro's Tyler Greigo, a sophomore, gained his first varsity win in his first varsity start with a complete seven-inning game.
Greigo allowed three runs (none earned) on five hits and one walk. The sophomore struck out one batter.
At the plate for the Indians, Aric Carroll led the Tribe at 2-for-4. He tallied two RBIs and one run. Logan Wilson had one hit, with two runs and two RBIs. Dow Kiefer had one hit, two runs and two RBIs.
Logan Watson finished with one hit, two runs, and one RBI. Wyatt Wagner was 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI for HHS. Brandon Wilson forced two walks and had one hit and one run scored.
Eli Hogsett scored one run and had two RBIs, while Paul Snyder scored one run. Corey Walker finished with one RBI and one run.

LONDON - On Friday in South Central Ohio League play, the Indians gained a 9-8 win over the London Red Raiders.
Garrett Bell earned the win with seven innings on the mound. Bell allowed eight runs (four earned) on 10 hits and one walk. Bell finished with six strikeouts.
Aric Carroll finished 3-for-4 with one run.
Corey Walker was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and one run scored. Airic Steagall went 2-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.
Logan Watson was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and one run. Paul Snyder also went 2-for-4 at the plate, with one run and one RBI. Brandon Wilson finished 2-for-3 with two runs. Dow Kiefer and Logan Wilson each had one hit. Kiefer had two RBIs and Wilson gained one RBI.
