Hillsboro tennis sweep another opponent; top Glen Este

For the second time this week, the Hillsboro Lady Indians swept a nonleague opponent, this time defeating Glen Este.

HHS won all three singles matches and won both doubles matches, though the second doubles match was won via forfeit.

As for the first doubles match, Kaitlin Whiting and Bree Opst of HHS defeated Waldman and Robison in straight sets at 6-0, 6-0.

In the singles matches, Vanessa McGinnis won 6-0, 6-0 over Sharma in first singles, while Emily Shanahan won 6-0, 6-1 against Garner in second singles.

Third singles saw Lexii Sears win 6-0, 6-0 versus Glassburn.

This week, the HHS Lady Indians went 2-1 in their three matches. Their first sweep was on Tuesday against Unioto. The loss was a South Central Ohio League loss against Wilmington.

HHS also had a match rained out against Blanchester.
