Hillsboro, Greenfield youth teams compete in Mini-Rotary Bowl

By
Larry Scruggs-
The fourth annual Mini-Rotary Bowl between Hillsboro Youth Football and the Tiger Youth Football Organization was held Saturday, Oct. 5 at McClain Field.

The two county rivals split, with Greenfield’s junior varsity team (third and fourth grades) winning 27-0 and the Hillsboro varsity team (fifth and sixth grades) winning 25-8.

After the game, Greenfield and Hillsboro varsity players huddled, with Coach JC Captain for Hillsboro and Coach Randy Clouser from Greenfield talking to both groups about the history of the Rotary Bowl.

The teams congratulated one another after the game, and at the end the call was "Highland County on three … 1, 2, 3, Highland County!”
