Wilmington junior David Henry scored four first-half touchdowns Friday night at Wilmington College before halftime, leading to a decisive 44-7 Wilmington Hurricane win over the Hillsboro Indians.

The Indians' lone touchdown came in the fourth quarter on a run by Christian Cundiff. Christian Wildey assisted Cundiff after several failed attempts at scoring by the Indians in the second half.

The Indians managed less than five yards total offense in the opening period.

Wildey had a second-quarter interception for the Indians. But the Hurricane's Austen Kessler picked off a pair of Hillsboro passes to set up scores by the Wilmington offense.

In addition to Henry's four touchdowns, Wilmington senior Kyle Davis added a 55-yard TD run and a 70-yard TD scamper.

Both teams were held scoreless in the third quarter.

Hillsboro quarterback Christian Cundiff scored on a one-yard run midway through the fourth period to avoid the shutout.

Hillsboro (0-3) hosts Clinton Massie (1-2) to kick off SCOL play Friday, Sept. 16 at Richards Field.
