Hillsboro boys golf defeats McClain at Hillsboro Elks

Earlier this week, the Hillsboro boys golf team defeated the McClain Tigers in their South Central Ohio League match at the Hillsboro Elks Golf Course by a score of 160-210.

The 28-stroke win by the Indians saw senior Austin Bagshaw with an even par in the nine-hole match at 36. Also with an even par was Jacob Deatley shot a 36.

He was followed by Alex Vanzant with a 42.

Other HHS scores included: Travis Wehrung (46), Anthony Ventura (51) and Jacob Schlater 47.

For MHS, Aaron Sharp led the Tigers with a score of 44. Other MHS scores included: Alex Payton (46), Brett Snavely (57), Ryan Page (71), Trenner Wile (65) and Jon Beatty (63).
