Hillsboro boys golf wins in Clinton County
The Hillsboro Indians boys golf team traveled to East Clinton for a dual non-conference match on Monday. The Indians earned the win with a team score of 177, while East Clinton finished with a score of 212.
Gavin Puckett was the medalist for this match with a score of 44 for Hillsboro.
The remaining scores for the Indians included: Gabe Mycroft 45, Josh Crawford 45, Bentley Watson 44, Lawton Parry 50 and Jack Rhoades 49.

McClain Tigers boys golf defeats two teams on Monday
The McClain Tigers boys varsity golf team defeated both the Adena Warriors and Miami Trace Panthers on Monday at Buckeye Hills.
Wes Potts earned medalist honors for McClain by firing a low score of 43.
Other McClain scorers included: Carson Spangler (48), Robbie Wise (49) and David Edwards (53).
The Tigers (23-14) travel to The Greens Tuesday, Aug. 25 for a non-conference match against the Washington Blue Lions and Miami Trace Panthers.

MHS Lady Tigers placed 3rd in FAC match at Chillicothe
The McClain Lady Tigers golfers finished in third place on Monday in a Frontier Athletic Conference (FAC) match at Chillicothe Country Club.
The meet medalist was Bri Weller with a score of 45, followed by Shayna Beatty scoring a 57. Next were Emma Stegbauer (63), Cate Willis (66), Abby Wise (68) and Alyssa Carroll (70).
