Coleman goes 2 for 4 Sunday against Villanova

Hillsboro graduate Kendal Coleman and the Cincinnati Bearcat baseball team wrapped up a three-game set against the Villanova Wildcats this past weekend, in their Big East opening series, where the Bearcats dropped the first two, but ended the trip with a win on Sunday.
On Friday, in a 5-2 loss, Coleman singled in the ninth inning to right-centerfield. He finished 1 for 4.
In the Saturday contest, the Bearcats lost 3-0. In his one trip to the plate Coleman, a sophomore, drew a five-pitch base on balls.
Sunday the Bearcats gained their lone win of the three-game series by a score of 4-3 to improve their record to 12-9 overall, 1-2 in the Big East.
Coleman finished 2-4 with one run scored against the Wildcats.
Coleman singled to right field in the fourth inning, followed with a single down the right field line, on a 3-2 count. After reaching second on a single by a teammate, Coleman took third base on a wild pitch, scoring his first run of the season on Villanova error.
For the season Coleman is batting .455 in four games played, three starts. Coleman has 11 at-bats, including five hits, in the four games played.
All three games were played at Villanova Ballpark in Plymouth Meeting, PA.
