Brad Miller, a 2021 Hillsboro High School graduate, has signed a letter of intent to play baseball with West Virginia Wesleyan College. WVWC is an NCAA Division II school in Buckhannon, W.Va.

Brad is the son of Brad and Christy Miller. He has been a member of the Cincy Flames, Hillsboro Post 129 and the Highland County Titans, and he played several years at Richard Shaffer Park.

In addition to playing for the Hillsboro Indians varsity baseball team — which reached the regional finals this spring — Brad was also a three-year starter for the Hillsboro basketball team and was awarded Academic All-Ohio in the spring.

Brad would like to thank a few of the coaches who helped him along the way: Jarrod Scott, David Jackson, Ben Miller, Corey Walker and Scott Morgan, and basketball coaches Miles Burton, Jake Fouch and Bruce Miles.

“Without all of these coaches pushing me and helping me improve, I wouldn't have the opportunity to play college baseball,” Brad said.
