HILLSBORO — Three goals and a first-half hat-trick by Hillsboro's Brooke Ulicny led to a Division II SE District Sectional Semifinal victory for the Lady Indians over the Sheridan Lady Generals by a 6-0 score Tuesday at Hillsboro High School.

This was Hillsboro’s fourth consecutive win, improving to 11-6 overall. The loss sends Sheridan to a 5-6-1 overall record for the season.

It was a slow start for Hillsboro early on as they missed a penalty kick, but once Ulicny's first goal sailed past the Sheridan keeper, the match belonged to the host Hillsboro squad.

Ulicny continued her goal-scoring display in the second half with her fourth goal of the sectional match as she took the ball away from the Sheridan defender, turned toward the goal and at an angle sent the ball past the keeper for a 4-0 Hillsboro lead with 31:20 left in regulation.
