On Nov. 6, two Hillsboro FFA members, Adalyn Gaines and Raeden Workman, attended the District Job Interview Competition.

Job Interview is a Career Development Event (CDE) that teaches students how to prepare for an interview.

First, participants must create a resume and a cover letter, which will be scored on professionalism and quality. Then, they fill out a job application and head into a mock interview. The judges score the individual on their poise, response to questions, and career objectives.

Once the interview is finished, members write a follow-up letter and label an envelope for mailing.

Congratulations, Adalyn and Raeden, for making it to the District competition.
