Hillsboro FFA Chapter 

On Tuesday, Nov. 11, Highland County FFA Chapters sent teams to compete in the subdistrict Parliamentary Procedure competition. In this competition, teams would compete to run the best meeting with the provided items of business and abilities that had to be completed within a certain time frame. 

The two teams Hillsboro sent were an advanced and a novice team. On the advanced team, were seniors Grace Allen, Reagan Leeth, Rylea Scarberry and Delaina Southworth, and juniors Adalyn Gaines and Claire Winkle. 

The novice team consisted of freshman members Abrianne Anderson, Bri Anderson, Tyler Bender, Kenley Carey, Lily Fugate, Blair Gard, Brooklyn Parker and Quinn Swope. 

The advanced team placed third in the competition. The novice placed first in the competition and will be moving on to the district contest, which will take place on Nov. 24. Congratulations and good luck.
