Highland County Job & Family Services, Press Release

The Highland County Job & Family Services agency wears green to support Child Support Awareness Month.

August is Child Support Awareness Month, an annual time to raise awareness about a critical income support program that helps millions of children and families.

In Highland County, the Job & Family Services agency offers services to complete genetic testing and to establish and enforce support orders, just to name a few.

In 2022 alone, child support programs nationwide collected $30.5 billion and served 1 in 5 children in the United States. This kind of support helps families thrive and sets kids up to succeed.
