Highland County GOP hosting picnic Aug. 20

The Highland County Republican Picnic is set for Sunday, Aug. 20 from 5-7 p.m. at the VFW Post 9094 Pavilion, located at 1000 West Main Street, Hillsboro.
Officeholders and candidates from around the state and local Republican officeholders will be present and introduced.
The event is open to the public and will feature a menu of pulled pork, beef brisket, hot dogs and other picnic fare and desserts. A $10 donation is suggested, and kids eat free.
