World War II veterans and twin brothers Marion and Marcus Lewis celebrated their 85th birthday Saturday, July 16 at the home of Gary and Ruthie (Lewis) Tucker of Hillsboro.

The Highland County Honor Guard, along with family and friends, paid tribute to these two U.S. Army veterans of the Second World War. Marion and Marcus entered the Army on the same day in 1944.

Both veterans thanked the Honor Guard and their many friends and family members for the birthday party and appreciation for their service.
