An Ohio woman who posed as a teenage boy and is accused of engaging in sexual conduct with a Springboro girl, has ties to Highland County and may take up temporary residence here.
Patricia Dye, 31, of Franklin is facing three misdemeanor charges: contributing to the unruliness of a minor, sexual imposition and attempted sexual imposition. A grand jury declined to indict her on a felony charge of unlawful sex.
She is expected to remain in the Warren County Jail while awaiting trial.
According to the Dayton Daily News, Juvenile Court Judge Michael Powell said court officials would have to check out an uncle’s home in Highland County as a temporary residence for Dye, if bond was posted and arrangements could be made for electronic monitoring.
Dye would be barred from contact with the victim or anyone under 18.
