Winter Storm Warning in effect
There's a heat wave on the horizon for southern Ohio, but first there another winter storm warning, as the latest storm system has added from 6-9 inches of new snow throughout the region.
In addition, today's wind chill factors will be near 0 degrees.
Several Ohio counties have announced snow emergencies for March 5. All Highland County schools are closed.
Roads crews from the state, county and city have been plowing since snow began falling Wednesday evening.
On the bright side, next week's forecast calls for sunny skies and a high of 51 (above).

Today: Snow, mainly before 10am. High near 20. North wind 8 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
