Wilmington woman arrested on drug charges
The Wilmington Police Department, with assistance from the U.S. Marshal Fugitive Apprehension Team, has located and arrested Melinda Conger, of Wilmington, in connection with a multi-count felony drug indictment.
Conger faces the following charges:
• Aggravated trafficking in drugs – second-degree felony;
• Aggravated trafficking in drugs – third-degree felony;
• Aggravated trafficking in drugs – third-degree felony;
• Aggravated trafficking in drugs – second-degree felony;
• Aggravated possession of drugs – second-degree felony;
• Possession of a fentanyl-related compound – third-degree felony;
• Possession of cocaine – fifth-degree felony; and
• Aggravated possession of drugs – fifth-degree felony.
Conger was taken into custody without incident.

An indictment is merely a charge and is not evidence of guilt.
