The 2001-02 Ohio Div. IV Final Four Whiteoak Wildcats team members met this past weekend in recognition of the 10-year anniversary of their championship season.
Whiteoak, coached by Pat Hines, finished with an overall record of 23-4, including a Southern Hills League championship, a sectional title, a district championship and a regional title that led them to the Div. IV Final Four on March 21, 2002 at Value City Arena.
Team members in attendance Feb. 17 at Whiteoak High School were: Shane Barnett, Jered Bohl, Allen Crabtree, Greg Harvey, Doug Hauke, Bobby Hunt, Blake Kibler, Jerod Michael, Justin Michael, Travis Mootz, Tyler Palmer, and Derek Wamsley. Cheerleaders in attendance: Tracy Frazer, Jane Riley, Jeni White Haller, and Katie Wright Pollard. Coaches: Pat Hines, Scott Campbell, and Chris Young; and trainer Rindy Mathews.
