WASHINGTON, D.C. – Ohio’s Second District Congressman Brad Wenstrup, a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, has released the following statement in response to the terror attacks in Belgium.

“The world stands in solidarity with Belgium against these violent and cowardly attacks. But it must also stand in solidarity to fight against radical Islamic terror.

“The threats we face every day are increasing, not diminishing. Defeating terrorist organizations like ISIS and al Qaeda requires a comprehensive strategy and a strong, coordinated effort between nations to stop these atrocities before they take place.

“Yet, this (Obama) administration still has not presented a clear course of action that matches the current danger.

“The fact is we’re engaged in a great war between good and evil. We cannot stand idly by, or wish the problem away. If we do, we risk attacks like these becoming more and more frequent.”
