Wenstrup: House pushes back against imperial presidency

 WASHINGTON, D.C. - An Imperial Presidency. That's what House Republicans like Ohio Congressman Brad Wenstrup are calling President Obama's administration this week, as they pass bills to rein in what they're calling repeated executive overreach.   "More and more, the rule of law is being trampled," Wenstrup said.   Wenstrup is pointing toward two bills that passed the House with bipartisan majorities this week. The ENFORCE the Law Act would allow either the House or Senate to sue the Executive Branch for a failure to faithfully execute the law, while the Faithful Execution of the Law Act would require federal officials to report when they choose not to enforce a federal law.   "President Obama has vowed to simply act without Congress. That ignores the balance of power that's taught in grade school," Wenstrup said.
