Weekly Highland County construction update released by ODOT District 9

The following ODOT construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Highland County during the week of July 7.

State Route 73 & State Route 785
S.R. 73 & S.R. 785 Resurfacing — A resurfacing project on S.R. 73 and S.R. 785. S.R. 73 will be impacted between the Adams County line and Deer Run Road. S.R. 785 will be impacted between S.R. 247 and S.R. 73. This project has begun as of June 10.

At least one lane will be maintained on S.R. 73 and S.R. 785 for the duration of the project.

Estimated completion: summer 2025.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed, and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
