Washington Court House man sentenced in Highland County Task Force case
A Washington Court House man was sentenced to two and a half years in prison recently after pleading guilty to drug charges in connection with a Highland County Task Force investigation.
John Michael Delille, 36, was indicted by a Highland County grand jury in November and charged with two counts each of aggravated trafficking in methamphetamine and aggravated possession of methamphetamine, all third-degree felonies; and a forfeiture specification.
Delille pleaded guilty to one of the trafficking counts in January, according to court records.
For that charge, it is alleged that a confidential informant working with the Highland County Task Force arranged to purchase meth at a Hillsboro residence in July 2024. The CI purchased 6.93 grams of meth in the deal, which allegedly involved Delille.
During a sentencing hearing Feb. 5, Highland County Common Pleas Court Judge Rocky Coss sentenced Delille to 30 months in prison, with eight days of jail time credit. Delille was also ordered to pay $140 in restitution to the Highland County Task Force.
Delille was admitted into the Correctional Reception Center in Orient Feb. 14, according to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction.
